The seven stages

    Defining the target group, the operating environment, current capability, and the priority gaps.

  2. 2. Capability Mapping

    Linking the gaps to the roles, tasks, equipment, procedures, risks and competencies required.

  3. 3. Program Design

    Translating the need into objectives, modules, content, a delivery method, and evaluation criteria.

  4. 4. Theoretical and Applied Delivery

    Delivering knowledge and connecting it to application, practice, and the actual working environment.

  5. 5. Field Training and Scenarios

    Applying practical situations that require professional judgment, communication, and adherence to procedures.

  6. 6. Evaluation and Impact Measurement

    Measuring understanding, skills and behavior, and collecting the appropriate evidence.

  7. 7. Continuous Improvement

    Returning evaluation results and beneficiary feedback into the next development cycle.

Quality and impact measurement

Programmes are subject to clear standards in defining the need, designing the content, selecting trainers, delivery, evaluation, and impact measurement and improvement. Impact measurement is used to develop programmes and demonstrate training value.
